Witty introductions are not my forte, so here are just a few things you might want to know about me. First, I am originally from St. Louis and I relocated to Tampa for my position at University of South Florida(USF) in 2022. Prior to joining USF, I worked at Boston University as the Executive Director of the Office of Career Development and Auburn University, where I served as the Associate Director, Career Development. As a lifelong learner, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Education in Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Adult Education. In my experience, I have had the unique pleasure of working on a variety of university settings and practicing mental health, academic, and career counseling. Here at USF I serve as the Associate Vice President / Executive Director of Career Services and can honestly say I LOVE what I do! From the students I have the honor of serving, to the Center for Career & Professional Development and Student Success staff I have the privilege of calling colleagues, I sincerely enjoy my job and look forward to the new challenges everyday. My role in our office changes depending on the project, which allows me to use my strengths and adaptability, relationship building, and change management, with the hope that I am helping others achieve their own goals. |
